Emotions shape our choices, motivate our behaviors, and have a crucial impact on our health. In my research, I use a combination of classic econometrics, behavioral experiments, and novel smartphone and machine learning tools to study the dynamic and complex nature of human emotion.  

I'm primarily interested in understanding (1) the impact of socio-economic factors on people's everyday emotional experiences and (2) the impact of our emotional experiences on choice and decision-making. During my postdoc, I will be focusing on the causes and consequences of boredom.

I hold a PhD in economics and management from Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona). I am an R enthusiast and follow the Open Science principles in my research.
