Seedcorn funding

At the centre, we are dedicated to exploring new ideas and developing new skills. For this purpose, we offer two types of funding: “Seedcorn research grants” and “Funding of invited talks, small group meetings, and workshops.”

Seedcorn research grants allow researchers from the Departments of Psychology and Behavioural Sciences, Management, and Economics and Business Economics to explore new ideas, run pilot studies for larger grant applications and collaborate with members from other departments. The grants are mainly (but not exclusively) targeted at junior researchers and serve as career development instruments.

The call for 2024 can be found here.

Funding of invited talks, small group meetings, and workshops is a key instrument at the centre to promote knowledge transfer and skill development. This funding opportunity helps to organise small group meetings and workshops, and to invite researchers and experts to the centre.

If you are affiliated with the Departments of Psychology and Behavioural Sciences, Management, and Economics and Business Economics, you can apply for this funding opportunity on a continuous basis – there are no calls or deadlines. If you are interested, please contact Centre Director Stefan Pfattheicher (sp@psy.au.dk).
