TIME (Translational Approaches to Imagination and Memory)
Forskningsenheden TIME (Translational Approaches to Imagination and Memory) oversætter resultater fra grundforskningen i selvbiografisk hukommelse og fremtidstænkning til nye, integrerede forskningsdomæner, som f.eks. kollektiv hukommelse, eller miljøpsykologi, og til meningsfulde interventioner, der kan anvendes i kliniske, organisatoriske, eller uddannelsesmæssige sammenhænge.
Evnen til at huske sin personlige fortid og forestille sig sin fremtid kaldes selvbiografisk hukommelse. Selvbiografisk hukommelse er en forudsætning for, at vi kan skabe en sammenhængende livshistorie. At kunne huske sin fortid og have en sammenhængende livshistorie er afgørende for vores oplevelse af identitet og mening. Grundforskningen inden for selvbiografisk hukommelse, livshistorie og fremtidstænkning er vokset betydeligt gennem de sidste to årtier. Vores forskningsenhed består af forskere som alle beskæftiger sig med selvbiografisk hukommelse, livshistorie og fremtidstænkning, men med baggrund i forskellige grene af psykologien (kognition, udvikling, arbejds-, klinisk- og neuropsykologi). Vores forskningsgruppe har to overordnede mål: For det første at oversætte resultater fra grundforskningen til nye, integrerede forskningsdomæner, som f.eks. kollektiv hukommelse eller miljøpsykologi. For det andet at oversætte resultater fra grundforskning til meningsfulde interventioner, der kan anvendes i praksis i for eksempel kliniske, organisatoriske, eller uddannelsesmæssige sammenhæng.

Identity and Resilience at Work (Dela Sawatzki)mit ph.d.-projekt undersøger jeg sammenhængen mellem identitet og robusthed på arbejdspladsen. Jeg bruger Work Life Story-interviewet til at forstå menneskers narrative arbejdsidentitet. Jeg fokuserer hovedsageligt på lærere i Tyskland og skolen som arbejdsmiljø. Jeg anvender kvantitative såvel som kvalitative metoder i mit studie og bidrager til resiliensforskning ved at anvende et narrativt identitetsperspektiv.
