Back on the 17th of June, the Centre for Integrative Business Psychology hosted a theme day on “Sustainability and Climate Action: From Intention to Behavior.” Around 60 people participated.

Brandi S. Morris and Panos Mitkidis guided through the day’s program, consisting of talks discussing research and practitioners’ experiences on climate action and sustainable behavior.

Keynote speakers were Jessica Ascheman Witzel (Aarhus University), who discussed how to implement sustainable food transitions, and Lene Mi Ran Kristianseen (GE Renewable Energy), who shared her experiences from working in the renewable energy industry.

Other talks were given by Brandi S. Morris (Aarhus University), who presented how companies can engage their customers in more sustainable behavior, Vera Markl-Mmoser (Unilever) on sustainability in big retail, and Katerina Mitkidis (Aarhus University) presented how policies and laws impact sustainable production and consumption. Furthermore, Laila Nockur (Aarhus University) presented research on how people might share limited resources in common resource dilemmas, and Katharine Hayhoe (Texas Tech University and The Nature Conservancy) discussed the importance of climate action.

We thank all speakers and participants for a great day with important and exciting talks and discussions.
