Samantha works as an editor at Nature Human Behaviour. As a research journal belonging to the Nature portfolio, Nature Human Behaviour has no external editorial board. Instead, all editorial decisions are made by a dedicated team of professional editors, with relevant and complimentary research and editorial expertise. In her talk, she will share key insights into current scientific trends and quality of research, as well as the process of editorial decision making and insights into publishing with journals in the Nature portfolio. Before joining Nature Human Behaviour, Samantha completed a PhD in social psychology at Utrecht University where she investigated the motivational underpinnings of the sense of agency. In addition to being passionate about science and scientific publishing, she has a keen interest in open and robust science as well as new developments in statistical testing.
