Katrine Komischke is a PhD fellow at the Research Unit for Grief, Aarhus University. Her research focuses on the treatment of prolonged grief disorder and complicated grief reactions in older adults. She works from an evidence-based perspective with a focus on cognitive behavioral therapy, comorbidity, and transdiagnostic approaches. Her projects include randomized clinical trials, systematic reviews, and longitudinal studies. Katrine also has practical clinical experience, has completed specialist training in cognitive behavioral therapy, and collaborates closely with both clinicians and international research environments, ensuring that her work is both scientifically robust and directly applicable in practice.
