New research from Aarhus BSS shows that we underestimate our own and our close others’ risk of infection. This false sense of security leads us to reduce precautions when we socialise with family and friends. We thereby risk increasing the spread of COVID-19.

Congratulations to Worawach Tungjitcharoen who successfully defended his PhD dissertation Autobiographical Memory and Religious Belief on Wednesday 17 November 2021.

Postdoc Tine Bennedsen Gehrt has received 1,278,290 DKK to the project: Autobiographical memory and self-concept in victims of sexual assault.

Patricia Bauer is a professor of psychology at Emory University in the United States and Honorary doctorate 2021 at Aarhus BSS.

On Sunday 5 September, professor Dorthe Berntsen received the Carlsberg Foundation Research Prize. For her outstanding memory research. For being an interdisciplinary role model, and for having transformed psychological research in Denmark.
