Aarhus PGDinterview

PGDinterview is a structured clinical interview designed to diagnose prolonged grief disorder. The interview can be used to make a diagnosis of "Prolonged Grief Disorder" (PGD).

PGD is a new diagnosis that was added to the ICD-11 in 2018. However, it is still unclear to what extent resources will be allocated to PGD in the Danish healthcare system. Therefore, the current version of PGDinterview should be considered preliminary.

PGDinterview has been developed by experienced grief researchers in close collaboration with both clinicians and bereaved individuals. The interview has been extensively tested with 125 adult bereaved individuals. Furthermore, the Aarhus PGDinterview was developed in connection with the SorgSkalaStudie and has been used in that context. Learn more about PGDinterview here.
