In my PhD project, I examine the relationship between state authority and subjects in the eighteenth century. I focus in particular on the marginalized during this period, and more specifically on the expectations, experiences, and negotiations they articulate in the petition protocols in Danske Kancellie from 1699 to 1799.
I am affiliated with the project “Voices of the People,” which digitizes and transcribes the petition protocols in Transkribus, where I have previously worked as the project’s daily manager.
In my previous research I have worked with the early history of psychiatry in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries as part of an interdisciplinary research group.
