Tina R. Killburn

Tina has an MSc in Psychology, a Ph.D. in Health Sciences, and is an authorized psychologist. Tina graduated from the University of Lancaster, UK and Aarhus University in 1998 and has since then worked with children, adolescents and families through both research and clinical work.

Tina has previously worked in the Danish PPR system and, for several years, as a clinical psychologist at the Centre for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (BUA) at Aarhus University Hospital, with assessment and treatment of children and adolescents. She is now employed as a senior researcher at BUA, where she primarily works with anxiety in children and adolescents with autism.

Tina is a certified Cool Kids therapist, as well as an instructor and supervisor of the Cool Kids ASD superstructure module at CEBU.

In collaboration with Macquarie University in Sydney, Tina has developed the program Cool Kids (Chilled) ASD, which aims to treat anxiety in children and adolescents diagnosed with ASD.


Kristian Bech Arendt

Kristian graduated as a psychologist from Aarhus University in 2011 and has since then worked in the field of psychopathology in children and adolescents, both through research and clinical work.

Kristian works primarily with children and adolescents suffering from emotional problems, but also has therapeutic experience with adults. His work is based on cognitive behavioral therapy. He specializes in anxiety treatment for children and adolescents and has worked with the Cool Kids/Chilled programs since 2011. He has also worked with counseling sessions for parents of children with anxiety. Kristian is a certified Cool Kids therapist, and also teaches and supervises the Cool Kids certification program at CEBU.

Kristian has, in collaboration with Mikael Thastum, developed the treatment program Back2School, which is designed for children and adolescents with school absenteeism. He has taught and supervised therapists in the program at CEBU.


Christina Kjerholt

Christina has an MSc in Psychology and is an authorized psychologist. She is an instructor and supervisor of the Back2School program, as well as co-author of the manual.

Relevant academic background for the B2S tasks: Many years of experience with family therapy under municipal administration, as well as many years working as a therapist, instructor, supervisor, and method developer and author in Parent Management Training Oregon (PMTO) in Denmark under the auspices of the National Board of Social Services, and VIA University College. Christina is also co-author of the chapter on cognitive behavioral therapy for behavioral problems in the book Cognitive behavioral therapy for children, adolescents and families, Hans Reitzels Forlag, 2018.
