Q&A

Which part of the workshop is held in which language?

  • All instruction during the training is in English. If you buy the ticket type with English consultancy, the exercises during the training will be in English. Otherwise the exercises will be in Danish.

What is the difference between the ticket types?

There are two different types of tickets:

  • With consultant
    • This ticket gives you access to the entire training. You will participate in the exercises in a small group facilitated by the consultant. The consultant will be present in the group about half of the time.
    • This ticket gives you access to continue towards certification in IBCT.
    • If you buy this ticket, and you participate in the Danish IBCT Add-on course, you will have the option of getting 24-30 hours approved for the DP specialistuddannelse. Read more about this here.
  • Without consultant
    • This ticket gives you access to all of the didactics in the workshop, lectures, handouts, articles, questionnaires, and demonstrations.
    • You get all the information with little demand on your time and limited obligations in terms of preparation or group work.
    • There are no prerequisites in terms of education or language skills in relation to this ticket.
    • This ticket can also be relevant to refresh IBCT knowledge, if you have done the full training previously.

Do you have to participate in the supplementing course to get the certification?

  • No. It is possible to get the certification without participating in the supplementing course. If you want to continue towards certification we recommend that you participate in the workshop with consultancy – but this is not a requirement.

Can the consultation hours from the certification count towards the Danish authorization?

  • Yes. The hours you spend on group supervision during the certification can count towards the Danish authorization as psychologist.
