Trine Sonne and Osman Kingo have received 2,436,639 DKK from the Danish Victims Fund to the project: Children’s stories about abuse episodes: What do we know about children’s ability to remember and talk about events?
Conversations with vulnerable groups such as children, who are victims of abuse, are to a large degree dependent on the person, who is talking with the children, and the persons perceptions and expectations to the children’s abilities. By use of a questionnaire we wish to map out what different profession groups think of children’s ability to talk about abuse incidents. We wish to focus on profession groups working with children who are victims, such as psychologists, the police, and social workers.
