I hold a degree in psychology from Aarhus University.
In my research, I explore the emergence and demarcation of diagnoses in psychiatric practice.
My general area of interest is the role of psychology in both contemporary society and in our relation to ourselves. In other words, I examine what the forms of knowledge produced by psychology mean for the ways in which we understand and act upon ourselves.
Specifically, in my research, this means I am interested in how psychiatry shapes our understanding of illness and suffering.
