09:05 - 09:15         Welcome address by Thomas Pallesen, Dean of Aarhus BSS

09:15 - 09:30         Introduction to the Centre by Stefan Pfattheicher, Director

09:30 - 10:15          Talk by Robert Böhm (University of Copenhagen): How behavioural economics can contribute to a healthy society

Robert will show that behavioural economics can increase scientific understanding of challenging questions – using vaccinations as an example.

10:15 - 10:30          Coffee break

10:30 - 11:15           Talk by Nadira Faber (University of Oxford and University of Exeter): Physiological influences on prosociality

Nadira will discuss how psycho-physiological states and the social context interact in shaping prosocial behaviour, using hunger as an example.

11:15 - 11:30           Coffee break

11:30 - 12:15           Talk by Isabel Thielmann (University of Landau): An affordance-based perspective on individual differences in prosocial behaviour

Isabel will outline the personality traits that play a prominent role when humans make prosocial decisions.

12:15 - 12:30           Concluding remarks by Stefan Pfattheicher: Next steps for the Centre
