Unit for Psychological Research on AI and Social Robots

For Sarah, it is great that the BSc in Economics and Business Administration programme has a strong focus on project work and collaboration with the business and industry. She has gained lot of experience and feel ready for her future working life.

The Unit for Psychological Research on AI and Social Robots investigates psychological perspectives on the interaction between humans and artificial intelligence as well as social robots. We examine how people understand, use, and relate to artificial intelligence and robots – both as technological tools and as social actors.

We combine approaches from work and organizational psychology, clinical psychology, and social cognition to examine human experiences, behaviour, and decision-making in interaction with AI and social robots. The purpose is to generate research-based knowledge that can support responsible and human-centred integration of technology in society.
