New Face at the Centre: Niels Holm Jensen

Niels Holm Jensen is a new post.doc at the Centre for Integrative Business Psychology.

I am a firm believer in the claim that the biggest barrier for more sustainable living lies in our head. Thus, a substantial part of the solution must be psychology-informed behavioral interventions.

I will be working on different research projects that test the effect of using nudging and behavioral designs to increase sustainable consumption, transport and travel habits, and energy saving in organizations and among citizens. This include testing green choice architecture and debiasing techniques addressing cognitive biases in sustainable behavior.

I have recently worked with behavior design as a consultant in the private sector, and, I plan on creating better synergies between private companies, public organizations, and social sciences. A future goal is to be able to accumulate science based behavior change techniques that can be tested in multi-site field experiments - benefitting the social sciences, private businesses, public organizations, and the green transition in general.
