Mats Lekander is a highly recognized Professor in the field of Psychology and Psychoneuroimmunology. We are pleased to announce that during his stay, Prof. Lekander will give a lecture about his work on mind-body associations, focusing on the interplay between psychology, behavior and the immune system.

The work of Prof. Lekander is interdisciplinary in nature, involving psychology, biomedicine and cognitive neuroscience. His research concerns psychological and biological determinants of subjective health. A major focus is on the influence of stress and sleep on the immune system and how the immune system, in turn, influences brain functions, subjective health, pain sensitivity and social interactions.

This lecture will be held at Psykologisk Institut on January 21, 2020. Time: 14:30 – 15:30 p.m. in building 1342 – 455 (Lille Juridisk Auditorium). 

The lecture is open to anyone interested. Please feel free to attend and pass the word around. Registration is not needed.
