A distributed perspective looks at leadership activity in terms of whether and how this activity is shared amongst organizational agents, including employees, who are not formally a leader. Agency may be understood as intentional action, which is at the same time embedded in, shaped by and (re)structuring social structure. Well-being is an overarching concept that may cover concepts related to positive psychological functioning (eudaimonic), attractive psychological states and satisfaction (hedonic), and a stress-approach, in which well-being is the opposite to or the absence of psychological stress.

The workshop deals with such perspectives and we welcome theoretical and empirical studies that may illuminate these themes, and preferably their interrelations.

We invite interested researchers to send an abstract of max. 100 words that outline a presentation to Maria Ovesen, maria.ovesen@psy.au.dk before June 15, 2014. The abstract will be peer-reviewed and will be used for a final selection of participants.

We plan a format, in which each participant will be given 10 minute to present their empirical research and/or theoretical perspectives on distributed leadership, agency and/or well-being, followed by  5-10 minutes of discussion.
